Sallie Greenberg, Ph.D. is a Strategic Energy Advisor with 25+ years of experience in carbon management. Dr. Greenberg’s work draws on a unique combination of technical one-of-a-kind project and programmatic experience, social community engagement and policy-related expertise. Dr. Greenberg led the world’s first BECCS project, the Illinois Basin – Decatur Project in Decatur, Illinois USA, and has consulted or contributed to more than 50 energy and CCUS projects. She holds a Ph.D. in Secondary and Continuing Education and Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Illinois, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Alfred University.
