Laís holds a Law degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ (2004). She earned a Master’s degree in Energy from the University of São Paulo – USP and an LL.M. in Energy from the University of Oklahoma, USA.
She is an alumna of the United Nations – Nippon Foundation Fellowship Programme (2022) and the Future Leaders Development Program – LideraGov (2023).
A career civil servant at the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels – ANP since 2008, she has held several management positions and currently serves as Director of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels at the Secretariat for the Environment, Infrastructure and Logistics of the State of São Paulo.
She is committed to developing innovative and efficient solutions for the formulation and implementation of public policies.
