Cláudio Ziglio holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and has been with Petrobras since 2002. He began his professional career at Petrobras’ Research Center (CENPES), where he worked in the areas of Production and Flow Assurance and Reservoir Engineering. For over 10 years, he served as the Research and Development (R&D) manager in these sectors, contributing significantly to the development and adaptation of essential technologies for pre-salt exploration.
Since 2022, Cláudio has been responsible for Petrobras’ initiatives aimed at identifying opportunities and overcoming challenges related to the implementation of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) projects, with a focus on decarbonizing Petrobras’ operations and those of its industrial partners.
