Created on March 22, 2016, the Sustainable Water Institute promotes the sustainable use of water through the development of studies, projects and research and the holding of scientific and educational events. Its projects aim to promote the defense, preservation and conservation of the water environment, as well as the sustainable, economic and social development related to its use.

We are a non-profit organization created with the mission to promote cooperation between academia, government, funders, industry, and society for the development of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) activities in Brazil to strengthen a sustainable future.

We aim to strengthen Brazil’s sustainable development strategies for a prosperous, clean, and fair future. We seek to develop CCS in Brazil through the mobilization and integration of stakeholders, resources, and knowledge.
