Geologist with a Master’s degree from USP and a Ph.D. in Hydrogeology from the University of Waterloo (Canada). He is a co-founder of the environmental consulting firm Hidroplan and has over 30 years of experience in groundwater and contaminated site remediation.
A former president and current Executive Director of the Brazilian Groundwater Association (ABAS), he has also taught as an adjunct professor at USP and UNESP. He is the creator of the “Professor Água” environmental education project and a Director of The Groundwater Project.
