Ph.D. in Chemistry from UNICAMP, he began his career at Petrobras in 2002 at the company’s Research Center (CENPES), where he spent more than a decade as R&D Manager in Reservoir Engineering and Flow Assurance.
A specialist in industrial innovation and asset decarbonization, he later took on the role of CCUS Manager (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage) within the company’s Energy Transition Directorate, where he is responsible for leading and structuring Petrobras’ future geological CO₂ storage hubs in Brazil.
